Default LCD replacement for notebook

I have a Compaq V6000 with a broken screen. I’ve been looking around for a replacement screen (15.4" WXGA LCD screen, part no. 431386-001 or 431387-001) but I’m a bit confused.

EBay has this listed which shows its compatible with a long list of different notebooks. Does this mean all the screens in that list are interchangeable? As this would make it much easier to get a second hand one cheap.

Are there any suppliers of used notebook parts around?
