Default Portrait shots

Last weekend I took some portrait shots of my boyfriend's little sister, her mum wants to submit them to some modelling agency. I'm very unexperienced, and would appreciate some critque about the poses, lighting, cropping, photoshop effects and whatever else. Its often hard to see the faults in my work until someone points them out to me, so please be truthful! Likewise, if someone wants to have a turn editing the original picture, feel free, in fact i'd appreciate that too.

I don't know much about model/portraiture etc, but in the B&W shot you might want to dodge in the iris in the eyes (easier in raw) so that the shot doesn't look like it was shot in IR.

Good job with the B&W conversion Shots are nicely composed, too.

If it's for a modelling agency, they're going to want full-length shots (even if she's sitting on the ground with her legs stretched out). And see how she's doing a big teeth-showing smile in every shot? Try to mix it up a little bit.

I must say - in all cases, I prefer the originals, though a little contrast and exposure lift would help.
