Hope you're happy with the purchase when you receive them.

I'm still of the opinion that 5.1 headsets are (there's that word again) a gimmick, but as long as you're happy with them then that's all that matters. Quality stereo headphones (currently using Audio Technica AD900) are moreso my cup of tea

Yep, I agreed with you up until reading reviews for this set. This seems to be the first type that really do sound like a 5.1 channel experience. Will be very useful for night time

I'll post my impressions after I get them

I'd like to hear something like this to judge for myself, but yeah it does seem hard to believe.

Though I haven't had much experience with headphones anyway.

I got he Roccat Kave - they work great in games, everything else is not so good though :/

They cost less because they are less...
You can only compare true 5.1 headphone sets with other true 5.1 headphone sets, ie ones with more than 2 drivers.

Virtual Dolby Surround Sound would sound great on any awesome stereo headphones
