Default Dell Studio 15" owners - quick question

Has anyone here bought a Dell Studio 15" laptop with 3gb of RAM? They want to charge me $144 to upgrade from 3gb to 4gb of RAM, so I was hoping to just upgrade it myself - if you order 3gb, does it come with 1 x 1gb and 1 x 2gb stick? Is the 1gb stick in an easy to remove location so I don't have to take the whole laptop apart?

Dell opted for one big removable panel on these on the back, just remove some screws and the whole thing comes off, granting you access to all of the internal components.

As for the ram, it will probably be a 2gb stick and a 1gb, most laptops only come with 2 sodimm slots.
