Yup, cheaper last week.

People have to learn its the popular and "in demand" items that will be CHEAPER pre Christmas, and the unbought left over crap that heavily reduced on boxing day onwards.

Yeah, I've been tossing up the idea of getting one for many months now (since the refreshed model was released).

Oh well, will be an extra $20 or so.

I got mine last week from clive anthonys with a game for $599 matching the domayne sale. My sister bought a PS3 today from clive anthonys for the same price just through haggling.

I bought mine today from Domayne for $599 incl Resistance 2. Didn't have to haggle or even mention the pre-christmas price.

Up here domayne and harvey norman are one and the same. I'd just go to anywhere that accepts haggling and get them to do that price

I was at harvey norman today with a mate who wanted to get a PS3. I told them that I got one last week for $599 with a game. They were aware the sale wasn't on anymore but gave it to my mate with 500 days interest free finance.

So that is 2 people I know who have got that deal after the sale has ended so just try your luck. If the shop says no to the deal try another one.

as the old saying goes. the worst you will get is a no. up to which point you go to the next shop and the next until you get what you want for the price you are happy to pay.

i went to 4 different shop to get my bravia 46" tv till i got the price i was happy to pay.

I'll be heading to the stores and see what sort of deals they can do for me this weekend.

I'm not really a haggler when it comes to shopping ... I decide what I want to buy, go in and pay for it. I do my research well in advanced though

I cant seem to find the Domayne $627 PS3 deal anywhere .. has that offer ended?

I think the cheapest around now is at "Game". They selling the PS3 + game for $649

It may have ended. However I'd still try and get it matched at somewhere like Harvey Norman. They usually are pretty lenient with their price matching and will often do it after a sale ended.
