White anemones are not natural, it's not happy or healthy. |

I've been feeding it small shrimps which it gobbles up pretty quickly, every 3-4 days. Hopefully it will regain some of it's natural colour over time. Quote:
I probably shouldn't have added the Anemone, but I couldn't resist . I'm building a fairly large external cannister filter, so filtration shouldn't be a problem.C-BuZz |

Upgrade time! Couldn't resist this as new 90L which I got for a bargain! 1500LPH Canister below, trickle filter above. Had to actually drill some holes for the trickle above. Need to add more filter media & fix up the pump so it spreads the water even.

If my planted tank ever dies off or i get bored i shall convert this just have to be prepared for evaportation i removed the hood and have sat a Dual T5HO Reflector on top so i loose a fair amount of water weekly |

Picked up some liverock today. Kind of just dumped it in so I haven't done any landscaping yet.

Was the liverock that you added already cycled or pretty fresh from collection ?

hey c-buzz i have been following this thread for quite some time and i'm still thinking about getting a small tank, although i have a couple questions about the 23l tank
1. is the filter and the light run off the same power cord? and if so how did you get the light to turn on and off and night (or did you just do it manually?) 2. how loud is the stock filter? would it be annoying to keep in a bedroom at night? SaW. |

1) The light is totally separate. I flip the switch & pull it out of the wall at night. 2) Pretty much silent. 3) Update on my tank time! Did a little landscaping, got a fair bit more to do as I'm really not happy with it. Click to view full size! Anemone has pretty much doubled in size since I added him. He eats prawn pieces like they're going out of fashion lol. Click to view full size! C-BuZz |
