Hey guys, quick question.

Some times when I turn my amp on, it automatically turns itself off and the Standby light is flashing. Is it going into protect mode? If so why? What can I do to fix it?

just double check all speaker cable runs, especially if run under carpet or other objects.

EDIT - you're looking for breaks or anything that doesn't look right

I do have two cables connected together half way along?

IE: Two shorter pieces making one longer piece.

i'd recheck that connection first, then all the rest

speaker shorting is generally the cause of protection mode on most amps, but it couold be something else, maybe an overheat protection thing or something

i'd check the manual too
