They seem to die over time. If you do get a new one, look for one with some sort of bracket, or at least flat areas on the end where you can properly attach some velcro.

Sorry for seeming clueless, but what's BP? I want to get a cathode or two, as I've swapped out some LED fans for some that actually blow air, but my case is looking a little dark.

To be honest, i hate cathodes with a passion.

They're flimsy, messy and not overly effective (UV is weak, RED is pink, blue is okay though). I've been through numerous sets, some ive had to bin because they kept flickering or the light just wasn't strong enough. I changed over to lamptron flexlights and they're much better. 1 molex cable instead of bloody 10 cables and a inverter flying everywhere and the colours and much brighter and stronger.

For sure if you cram it chock a block full of em and light up the entire neighborhood. But when used in good contrast they can really look good.

Figured it was a brand, just didn't know what it stood for. Thanks.

How much more are the lamptron flexlights? If it means less cables hanging everywhere, it might be a better option. I don't necessarily need bright lights, just ones that balance the light around.

I agree.

Ive been there done that, the only thing i like is if you have white tubing/fans and use several UV lights, which sets it all of nicely as its nice and subtle.

Otherwise i perfer no lights at all.
