Lol..

at least ur realise the problem..

3 guys i went to tafe with dropped out cause of runescape.. (Yes.. dropped out of tafe.. its possible)

The only reasons they stopped coming to the campus is cause once they dropped out after semester one.. there network access was finally revoked 2 weeks into semester 3..

thats 2 full semesters playing runescape all day in side TAFE hours..

wtf.. honestly..

WoW, Facebook, Myspace, Pokies, Alcohol, Drugs... whatever its all addiction if you lose control...

I play WoW instead of watching TV, I think its a better option IMO... about the same in metal and physical activity... but way more social, virtual friends are now real world friends.

What level are you?

I kind of thought the same thing at first, I remember a conversation with a friend along the lines of 'why do so many people play this terrible game? It's not even fun!'. I'm not sure when I changed my mind actually, now I have 2 high level characters and waste too much time on the damn game.

Low level quests are pretty boring though. Go collect 10 bear asses, come back, now take this sealed package of bear asses to some guy 2 continents away. It's a lot better past level 60, and even better past 70 if you last that long.

If you haven't run any dungeons yet give one a go. I don't know what the applicable alliance one for you will be, someone else can advise.

(To be honest it'd be in your best interests to get out while you still can.. )

You can raid, you can pvp at a more balanced level, you have access to complete talent tree builds and all your class abilities, you can do any instance you choose. The main idea is that you get to see the most content and can have a shot at getting the best items for your character.

For a new person it will take a fair amount of time to get to 80. If you're an intuitive player, it will take less. For most of us, having levelled at least one or two characters, it takes much, much less time than a new person because we know the game mechanics, we know the class abilities, we know the quests and zones etc.

Having said that, each person is different - I level about twice as fast as some of my friends who have played for just as long - they're just not as efficient as I am.

I've gotta say that if my mates didn't play WoW there's no way I'd still be playing.

i personally am having more fun leveling alts as opposed to playing my main lvl 80.

i have these level characters. 1 lvl 80, 1 lvl 73, 1 lvl 72 1 lvl 71, 2 lvl 63, 2 lvl 44, 3 lvl 34. and i am enjoying all of them. (maybe not one of the 34 priests.

however right now im onentrating on both the paladins (both at 44) and both the deathknights i have (paladins 1 is horde and 1 is alliance on blackrock. and the dk's are on differant servers

/layed accross my acount is about 350 days

and i still work 40 hours a week and go out whenever possible
