Hey guys. First time owning a laptop and was wondering about my temps? Are they fine or a bit high. This is on idle, in an air-con'd room with a temp of 22 degrees.
Click to view full size! I wouldn't have really cared, only it has shut down once or twice randomly while I was using it. Only installed SpeedFan just now and thought "they look a bit hot, maybe that's why it shut down". Thanks!

how old is your laptop? the older the laptop, more dust will be trapped inside the case, hense reduce airflow and increase temperature.
i would say your temperature is quiet high, especially for an idle laptop under a cool environment. do you place ur laptop on a desk or any hard surface? make sure none of your intake vents are blocked. random reboot doesn't sound like a good thing, but it may relates to software issues. edit: forgot to ask can you manual adjust fan speed? if so, see if that makes any differences.

Haha. Found the problem and while I was at it, realised why it's such a silent laptop. CPU fan is dead. Haha. Guess I won't try and stress it too much when I use it from now on.

Eventually. Not that worried about it atm if that's gonna be its temps. Mainly only use it for web browsing or streaming the radio anyway.

Ok, worried now since it turned off a few times yesterday. For a replacement fan, it's going to cost ~$40. Anyone know where I could get one for pretty much free?
