Default Expressgate / Splashtop + Eee PC

Anybody tried running Expressgate on their Eeepc from a USB thumb drive?

The asus version of splashtop, Express Gate can be acquired here, ftp://ftp.asus.com/pub/ASUS/misc/utils/
