I'm trying to fix the dodgy internal wifi in a generic notebook. it has an internal wireless adapter (realtek 8187) based on the PCIe Minicard form factor (ie the same as Intel 3945/4965/5100/5300 wifi cards) but the slot only has the USB part of the spec implemented (the minicard spec allows for both USB & PCIe).
So the Intel cards, being PCIe, do not work- I need one that uses USB! Anyone know of any? |
