I've got a NavMan F20 - quite a few years old now, but it works really well if I need to get to a place I've never been before. That being said, it's not as cheap to update as a TomTom I believe.
I'd say that the TomTom would be better value for money over time.

your poll doesn't include Garmin, who are supposedly the best.

Voted other... I use Garmin as well.
Main reason is because it works well on my mobile phone, so if I'm in the office and I get an email for dinner somewhere, I just whip out my phone, enter in the address, and when I get into the car I just select it and go. Much better than writing down the address and entering it when you get into the car ![]() Handles complex roads really well, e.g. the Warringah Fwy going into Sydney. Handles all the lane changes perfectly, never puts a foot wrong. Previously had Tomtom and Navman, both weren't as good as Garmin. |

I have the cheapest garmin from 2 yrs ago and quite happy withit.
If I'm to buy another one now, I'd probably get Navman S150 with the land guidance system and upgradeability to include traffic report.
