Default Eee PC with Serial??

G'day all.

I've been a-googlin and haven't found anything, so thought I ask the Gurus!
Dose anyone know of either an Eeepc or particularly small notebook, reasonably priced, with a serial port (yeah that old craggy D shaped thing that no one has a use for)
I'm looking for something as small as possible to use as an interface to the after market engine management computer I am running*. It only has serial interface and I've not had any luck with USB -> serial converters (with the FTDI chip set).

*Emerald, an English brand quite cheap for what you get!

Thanks!

I highly doubt it, to be honest. Serial ports are old hat, and netbooks tend to come with mostly the same array of ports.

Would there be an expresscard-serial adapter? I believe the Lenovo comes with an ExpressCard slot.

Lenovo S10 and below might work for you, if you have a laptop with an expresscard you could by the express card first to test before buying tht Lenovo.

Would you have more luck with an older ultraportable rather than a new netbook?
