Default do any cpu temp monitoring programs measure negative temps

just wondering if programs like coretemp, speedfan etc can read negative cpu temperatures?
also the same question for the bios monitor

hey man....just figuring out new cooling.
instead of trying ln2 or dice, im gonna try chilled vodka through my water system and freezer. i would prefer 24/7 cooling. 100 proof freezes at -40c. 80 proof at about -25c. just gonna add large radiator in the loop in the freezer. maybe a 2l to 4l reservior for pre-freezing. hopefully the freezer will be powerful enough. it has a temp control dial in the freezer.
still just planning though

Wouldn't you have to watch out on condensation that forms on the tubing and water (vodka) blocks?

Such a waste of vodka!

Web temp will and there is a graphing function over time. Used it here in the water chiller project.

hmmm.... id be wary of using (EDIT: CHEAP) vodka.... ive got a couple of bottles sitting in my freezer, and at around -10 they start getting thick and gluggy....

wouldnt be very good for the pump.

on the other hand, you could just use watercooling and have a tap delivery system out of the freezer for vodka shots and "forget" that its not under 0

progs just read from a sensor anyway, be it mobo or on-die, if the sensor can output a negative value im sure most programs will show it

+1 for in-line tap

might need a good thermocouple thingy for one of the mobo sensor inputs.
interesting about the vodka going gluggy. im thinking maybe some cheap 100 proof. ill do some more research on what liquid i can use.
im just hoping the freezer is powerful enough to overcome the heat of the cpu. if its not, the temps will just keep going up
