Default Toshiba Satellite Issues

Hey guys, need a bit of assistance on what could be the problem with this laptop. Recently my brother dropped it and since then the laptop wont boot up. The screen doesnt come on and theres no sound coming from the laptop when you try to turn it on. The only sign of life is that the battery light comes on when its plugged in AC. Im thinking it could be a motherboard problem? Its a fairly new satelliste pro L350 any ideas on how much repairs might set me back?

Appreciate any help

Is there visible damage that you have dropped it?

if not to bad you might be able to bodge a warranty claim?

If the fan does not even spin up and/or the hard drive doesn't start up then I would say the motherboard is stuffed ..
