Default McDonald's breakfast menu & hours

I had the munchies and I'm on holiday, so I drove to a Macca's near my place, arrived at 3.55 AM, and they already rolled to the breakfast menu and won't serve the regular menu

Who have breakfast at 4am? Is it really that much trouble to keep both regular & brekky menu available?

I could go to a Hungry Jacks not far away at 6am and get ANYTHING from their menu, none of this ding! its breakfast period you can't get any fries or regular burgers, fuckoff

If HJ have the resources to do it, surely a bigger company like maccas can keep up?

edit:
their hashbrown and pancakes aren't bad, but I don't spend money on things I can easily make, ie. frozen hash browns chucked into the oven, and pancakes butter and syrup costing a few bucks at the supermarkets.

I'm a manager at HJ, and having both menus available is a fucking bitch.

However, the customers love it. and 4am is so early for just the breaky. I wanted chicken nuggets at 4am on the dot. Na, wouldn't do it. GRRR, Should have just let myself into HJ and made myself nuggets. om nom nom nom nom.

i rollseyed because as someone who used to work odd hours i always used to get these kind of "who does x at x time??" ALOT. When your hours aren't "normal" you do stuff at different times of the day, tbh i actually quite enjoyed the odd hours too, you miss out on all the crowds

Being nocturnal was fun

HJ's do it, McDonalds don't because of various made up reasons.

not a bacon person ... imo the bacon taste is worse than the "this is a junk food with cheap meat" one

sucks when you're travelling overseas and just want to get some feelgood grease and fries in the morning @ the airport, before you board the plane.

could've been 3.30am, based on my last month's trip there.

so bottom line, the increase in customers/sales makes it worthwhile?

HJ's may have seperate grills for their sausage/meat patties? or however they cook their meat.

made up reasons or not - that is the reason maccas does not do breakfast and lunch menu simultaneously.

Yes. plus all the good feedback from customers, saying its better that we can get both menu's not like maccas over the road.
