I watched some youtube vids yesterday and I'm majorly psyched up! Gonna go out and pick up a copy at lunch.

We should get some multiplayer going!

Yeah, went to the counter said I was getting a preorder and trading in some games for it. Wasn't a problem and all that was a hiccup was needing to refund my deposit.

As for the case, well unlike the Killzone 2 one, its basically the new coverart, and the back is printed information... Havent open the plastic yet though.

Also I'm feeling extra cheap, and might pick up my EB Games preorder, just to take the DLC bonuses and return it in a few days... Yeah, I'm a horrible person.

EDIT: Also of note, Series 6 Samsung 40" LCDs can be had for under $2000 now @ JB. I spent a few minutes contemplating that.

Just picked up U2

mental note: dont ever pickup a game at lunchtime from JBhifi Bourke St, it's to busy. at least i got my pre-order refund.

Also, anyone wanting to go get the CE version from bourke st, they have NONE left, only the standard game left.

now to wait patiently till i get home, pity i cant get the rest of the day off

Grabbed the Collectors Edition this morning from JB, Only intended to get the standard edition, but the Tin was only $10 more.

Only got to play for ~30minutes before going to work, great game so far though heh

Opened up my mangled box it came in: Bag is a bit smaller than I thought, but my 12" laptop may fit inside. It was free, so can't really complain

Now I have to go out tonight

So I can't play it! Damn

You should have gone to the lonsdale one

Rocked up at 12.30, grabbed a copy, was like 4th person in the queue, paid for it, was out by 12.40

Just the standard copy for me

Usually it's heaps busier there at a lunchtime, but I think the bad weather is keeping people in their offices.

Got mine from JB in Canberra DFO, traded in three for one on the pre-ordered special edition. Initially the guy there was looking slightly perplexed saying "it's a collectors edition, I think it's only on the standard", I replied that it was advertised as the CE and the girl there said "yeah it's the CE, I've been doing it all morning".

Oh and you only get your deposit back as a gift card (at least that's what they told me). No skin off my nose, I shop at JB all the time.

just picked up u2 from eb... it with in a crappy cardboard sleeve and paper case
wtf??? what is wrong with the plastic case (more durable)

lucky buggers got the tin box... im a sucker for the tin box but it was not offered

looking forward to getting home and giving it a go tonite
