Yeh mate I ordered it from this mob http://www.enbyte.com.au/product/i/252138.html monday arvo and it arrived today so was pretty quick.

What model true is that Nom I might piss this old water block off it doesn't seem to be doing it's job that good anymore.

Yeah normal true, from what I read you need a pretty good water cooling setup to get any benefit over air, you'll need a decent radiator (one that has 3 x 120 fans to attach - and a quality one) and good blocks to gain on water...

kk im just quickly jumping in on this, with bugger all knowledge about corei7 and current chips etc im gonna make some crude assumptions.

1. that link is a bloody good price.

2. that link is the W3520 xeon which is essentially a renamed core i7 920 but are slightly better and run nice overclocks.


if my above 2 assumptions are correct can someone please tell me so i can purchase one at that link before they run outa stock or up their price.

EDIT: wait wait i was looking at the price ex-gst, its not such a fantastic price now.

haha, I would think so being it in Winthrop...

I've never heard of that PC shop, i was thinkin about taking a drive down there to get a W3520 but fark 43km away just to get a CPU

They didn't have any in stock here but their Sydney warehouse did, other wise i would have picked it up the same day lol.
