So these are recommended over the C0 i7's?

I'm getting a system today and planning to get the GB EX58-UDP4.

I am not seeing this at all and cannot find anything on the web about it. Do you have any further proof?

My Vista 64 and XP have the same temps on my Q9450 overclock.

The last CPU I tried this on was my old Q9550 on the P5Q Deluxe. XP only needed 1.24V for 3.6GHz prime stable whereas Vista 64-bit and XP x64 edition were both unhappy unless i gave the CPU 1.26V. Unfortunately no I don't have proof of this.

thanks guys, I think this chip is great it's a shame that it's not for me, I built this rig for my cousin, he knows nothing about overclocking, he doesn't really know how lucky he is to get a chip like this, the comps at his place now...

Interesting, how much faster (@ stock) over a Core 2 Q6600 G0 @ stock.

lol I was thinking about waiting for the real i7 d0's to come out and purchase one and if it doesn't overclock as well as the xeon version I'd do a straight swap with him, he might agree with it cause he'd be getting a new cpu.
