Biography:
Found my dads AE-1, started shooting film. Bought my 40D about 1.5 years ago, and recently purchased my pentax 6x7. Sold my 40D May 2009, moved 100% to film with the purchase of the M6 and CV35mm f/1.4. Love it as a hobby, made a little bit of money doing events - doubt people will want all film shooters now - nor do I want to do events anymore.

Biography:
18 months ago decided the IXUS range of cameras was not enough, and bought a 40D soon after they were released. Started with random photos, then macros. Settled on street and live music/events as what I love shooting the most. Would love to shoot for bands and events, with some portraits thrown in, so I am trying to move into that.
Shooting fast scenes and events with manual focus lenses is fun and challenging.

Biography: Been taking photos on a regular basis for a few years now. I work in an industry close to photography, and taking photos does provide a source of income for me, but I have no desire to take photos for any other reason besides the enjoyment it gives me. Like using film at the moment too and develop B&W at home. Like all genres of photography and endeavour to try as many as I can. I also have way too many film cameras. It's bit of an addicition yes (no thats not all of them listed above). They dont just sit on a shelf though, I do use most of them, and all work except 1... Well thats how I try to justify it to myself

Biography:
Start shooting in the final weeks of year 12 because of boredom, found myself screwed for exams...but loved the photography. My style of shooting is street/reportage, sometime portraits too, with the hasselblad I have been moving away from candids and moving onto street portraits. Through this, I have met some interesting characters and have a photo as a record of the encounter.

I have a digital kit, but my roots lie in film, mainly bw and some slides, I have made a comeback to film especially of late, with hope of getting a 4x5 kit soon.

Big family history of photography, but all hobbyist. I'm the first one that's really wanted to make work out of it, and so far so good (lots of encouragement from the family!). I set up my business about 1 year ago after taking photos for as long as I can remember. Now that sports is work I've really taken to Landscapes on my weekends off.
