Quick started accessorizing it with wide lense adaptor and a few other bits and pieces, and was just messing around with landscapes and car photography. Before long I upgraded to a 350D + twin lense kit in '05, soon after bought a 50 f/1.8 and with that started to move into the glamor/fashion side of things. I continued that trent into '08 where I upgraded to a 30D + grip and a Sigma 25-70f/2.8 was added and I moved more into the live event and music shooting. I'm continuing to focus on my live event and music shoots these days, simply because they combine my love of music with my love of photography. |

Location: Melbourne, VIC. Status: Beginner/Amateur Camera: Nikon D80 Lenses: Nikkor AF 50mm f/1.4D, Nikkor AF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6G Accessories: 4GB Sandisk Ultra II card, Nikkon SB-600 flash, Crumpler 7 Million Dollar Home. Links: part-time paparazzo Biography: Only started to get into photography and stuff late last year after seeing some of the stuff my cousin was taking of everyday life and figured, "Hey that's pretty cool!". Since then I've been mainly taking pics at festivals and music gigs. Would love to find the time to do more of the "everyday life" kind of photography once I get out of the corporate grind... Hoping to get my mittens on a AF-S 17-55mm f/2.8G or some form of fish-eye lens in the near future...

I developed a keen interest in photography shortly before I purchased my 500D in August 2009, just before my 2nd trip to Japan. My interests lie primarily in landscape photography (kudos to Wisie and Kane) but since then I've come to love transport photography, especially aircraft (thanks to Wooly). I'm continually learning new things and trying new techniques in the pursuit of perfecting my shots. If only Adelaide had some interesting places to shoot...
