About Me:
My name is Adam and I work for Woolies by day, photography is a side hobby. I developed a keen interest in photography shortly before I purchased my 500D in August 2009, just before my 2nd trip to Japan. My interests lie primarily in landscape photography (kudos to Wisie and Kane) but since then I've come to love transport photography, especially aircraft (thanks to Wooly). I'm continually learning new things and trying new techniques in the pursuit of perfecting my shots. If only Adelaide had some interesting places to shoot...

Location: Currently Perth, WA, but traveling a lot around aus.
Status: Amateur/Hobbyist
Camera: Waiting on 5D(en route), Canon 300v, Olympus OM1, Minolta Minoltina(!)
Lenses: 100mm Macro, 24-105/4L next week, 50mm/1.8 zuiko, 75-150 zuiko
Accessories: nil(see bio)
Biography:
Started into photography when i was about 16 with the EOS 300v and a 50mm/1.8 II, took some amazing(for me, at the time) photos, experimenting a lot with slide film, primarily velvia and provia, along with high ISO Kodak B&W negs. Bought my first DSLR, an Olympus E-300, when i was about 22, which lasted about a year before i needed to upgrade to the EOS 30D. The high-ISO noise of the Oly sensor just didn't cut it. At this stage i was starting to do some event photography for the likes of Magic Dirt, Missy Higgins, The Angels, and pretty much any other big(and not so big) act to come my way...
I decided last year that i'd start to travel around a bit, and thought i'd sell my 30D to help fund my trip, and just take a small P&S with me, as i couldn't justify the weight of a DSLR when living out of a backpack for 6+ months. So i sold my 30D, sold my Sigma 24-70/2.8(which went missing with AusPost(grrr)), and sold my 200mm/2.8L.......
All of which i'm now regretting, which has pushed me to purchase a 5D(en route), 100mm Macro, and next week i'll add a 24-105/4L to that list too. I'll still need to add a 50mm/1.4/1.8 to my list, after which i'll likely grab a 70-200/4L IS, and hope that maybe i'll be able to get back into even photography, as i love it so.

Camera: Canon 40D

Lenses: Canon 50mm f/1.8, Canon 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5, Canon 24-105mm f/4 L, Canon 24-70mm f/2.8 L, Sigma 120-400mm f/4.5-5.6.

Accessories: A few different bags to haul it all around in!

Links: Flickr (hasn't been updated in a while!)

Biography: Bought my first DSLR (Canon 400D) a few years ago after being frustrated by P&S lack of functions and seeing all the cool photo's people were taking with SLR's. Didn't really like photography after I bought it. Then about 2 years ago started really getting into it, buying more gear and getting out more often. I have to start learning how to use Photoshop or Lightroom properly now. Eventually I would like to get serious about this and try making a living out of it.
