Default New installation of PSU + AGP card, but AGP card fan stops every now and then !

Just finished installing OCZ Stealth extreme 600w PSU with a brand new ATI HD3850 AGP graphics card. Noticed that the fan on the graphics card is not going on constantly but stopping every now and then ? I wonder if I did something wrong . What could be the problem ?

Make sure the card is seated into the agp slot 100% .

Fan may be on its way out .

Try fan speed/control software (not sure what will work with AGP card ).

I am putting below some info which may help you guys to help me out

My PC

Intel Pentium 4 NorthWood Socket 478
Austek P4S800-MX SE Motherboard
2 GM of DDR Memory
Windows XP SP3 Professional

The powersupply is a brand new OCZ Stealth Extreme 600W PSU. Baught it along with the AGP card.

When I was setting the AGP, I used 2 seperate connectors from seperate lin to connect to the 8 pin black socket rather then 2 connectors on the same line. I hope I did that correctly ?

While setting the PSU, I pluged the CPU2 socket in the 4 pin CPU socket in the motherboard ( if I use CPU1 line, my CPU wouldn't run) and ofcourse the 20 pin main connector can go in to the motherboard in only one way.

Cant figure out what I did wrong ?!

This is the info from GPU Z.

Can some one tell me whare I am going wrong ?

One line is sharing one connector with the AGP 2 in one socket, the DVD writer and the power switch. The other one is sharing the other 2 in one cosket, one IDE drive and one floppy drive. The line with PCIE Connectors and Sata drives are just simply left idle. Where did I go wrong ?

When does it stop, just during normal desktop activities, or during games?

I would assume it's just turning the fan off because it doesn't need it. The temperature on your card seems fine.
