Default 896mb or 1792mb GTX260?

i think this has been covered sumwhere b4..but i cant find it.

Is the extra 50 bucks premuin worth it for the 1792 mb. I got a 26" monitor now and like eye candy so the extra memory wont be wasted. I know the clocks speeds are down on the 896mb but i will oc to those clocks or higher anyway.

Any thoughts?

There's a good review here to give you an idea of the performance difference between a GTX 260 with more vram and the normal 260 specs - http://www.guru3d.com/article/msi-ge...92-mb-review/1

Cool, thx dude. By goin by that..the only game that really benefits with the extra memoury is crysis..which i dont really play/like. And the extra memory is only good it you running 2500x1600 (30") monitor.., i've only got a 26" running @ 1920x1200..so the 50 dollars would be a waste.
