i like 60 frames vsync for smooth gameplay. If i had a 120Hz LCD id go SLI 580s.

Its an amd/ati bug. Ive had it for all my amd/ati cards - most of the reason i want to get back onto the green team. Once running its sweet, just loads poorly compared to nvidia. On BC2 release it was shocking.

I've never had that prob. just slow load times in pre 10.5 cats (i think)

You kinda get over constantly tinkering around to get a game to work.... I had to play bc2 in dx9 because it wouldn't run for me at all in dx10 on my gtx275....

Do you really reckon you need two? I have an AW2310 that Im yet to fit up (waiting for new kvm that supports it) , others reckon the single 580 will do the job, have to wait and see I guess. I was hoping the one 580 would do me until 680 comes out but thats looking further away now too.

Is there an easy consistant way to benchmark BC2? I would love some accurate figures to do a scientific analysis of the BC2 on a 120hz screen.

I tried playing with two 580's on my 2400W but I couldnt see any difference, Im hoping the 120hz screen difference is noticable to me.

No one wants to tinker all the time, thats why one vid card rocks, so many reckon sli/cf is fine but then so many others have issues after issues.... 1x good gpu FTW !!
