Fuck I hate this server browser, been trying to play a game for 2 days now, and haven't been able to find one single Aus server that's joinable.

Even the Play Now button can't find any servers

Had a go at a squad rush HC server. Joined part way through and nailed out 87 kills by the end of the round Inf'ing

On GF's pc too, ol' 9600GT holds up very well. Playing on low/medium (which still looks great) and its silky smooth.

Its not that hard.

refreash list, sort by name, look for game arena, 3fl or anything with Au

You can press the ping tab to sort servers by ping (doesn't help for 3FL servers which don't seem to return a ping)

Anybody know how many kills you need for each weapon to get the bronze silver gold stars etc?

No ping or 999 just means it timed out responding, its a EA issue not a game server isssue, honestly people just join any fucking server you know is in Australia.

It was perfected by many browsers presteam that did not require bloat drm. (i.e all seeing eye)



The reason the browser fails, DICE even admited it, is that the game does not cache the list locally and always pwns the ea servers.

apparently i got the most kills with a knife, 4 kills. However that round i never even used my knife .

Managed to get one game to show up in the epic fail browser, it's the "DD Down Under BC2 (sydney, au)" server, 23/32 players, 46 ping yet IT WILL NOT CONNECT.

Yup, i can get them to show up easily, connecting i just get the spinning ring and then just nothing.... Been able to play a GRAND TOTAL of 2 games.... woohooo

This is WORSE than MW2.

This may have been posted but this thread is getting a bit out of control. I found for GA I needed to use

Without the capitalization it didn't work. You also need to click SEARCH. I also needed to ensure none of the "not full / not empty" boxes were ticked because all the servers were full and it threw back a false negative.

Just a quick question how are you all searching for 3FL servers when it puts a 0 infront, does that matter? Otherwise I hope to get back into another GA server for a bit tonight had about 2-3 hours MP play got a few levels mostly playing assault atm and truly loving this game.

My E6300 + GTX 275 are handling this on medium @ 1920x1080 which is a far better result than in beta.

I posted the exact same issue a few pages back. Workaround is to use Logitech Profiler software to map joystick input to keystrokes and just assign the keys to fly the chopper. Tested and working here.

There is a 6+ page thread on it on the official BC2 forum, and EA responded that the issue is being addressed.

its not that 3fl dont return ping, it's just that the browser only has time to get a certain number of pings back before it shows you the list. If you filter out the list by typing in the server name in the search box, you should get pings (yeah yeah i know you cant type 3fl without getting "03fl", but it works for other names )

Did the beta have to go through ea bs as well?
