I'm not so sure now. I hope so, but with the success of a consolesque game on PC, what's to stop them from crapping it up and going multi-platform? They know people will buy it.

From what I've heard BF3 has been in development for a while, before this was released. If that's true then it probably wouldn't be worth the extra hassle changing it to cater for console gamers.

I am already over it, not only have i played all the maps waay to much, its fucking frustrating to connect

I can get over a MP game very easily when i cant connect and when i do i am playing with a bunch of noobs, hackers and nazi admins.

Besides, the beta was better, at least it let talented players and testers in and you could fucking connect

Yea, there is like 4 maps in this game? Certainly feel it. They're so damn small too

Sweet game though... needs dlc/mods bloody quick though.

The only map I really enjoy anymore is Port Valdez. Despite playing it relentlessly in the Beta I just get bored with the other maps now.

I've been pretty successful getting ingame along with a friend i always play with (although he always connects first and i follow via friends as my server system is buggered like most others) . We usually stick to a select few servers though, =ESA=, AF phogh, and a few other HC ones; always have good time bar the occasional crash.

Port Valdez is not the most fun for me but it's ok; the other maps feel like they just have so much more to offer. Isla Inocentes, Valparasio, Africa Harbour, Nelson Bay, White Pass i could play endlessly and not get sick of; Everywhere you go is full of atmospheric win. Maybe playing as recon gives you more time to savour the environment =p

I hate going lone ranger in this game and have done so in all the BF series I have played. I usually squad up with my brother and some other TOG mates and if you have an assault, engie and medic, you will be unstoppable.

Team speak is a valuable piece to this game as well. Calling enemies and if you need ammo/medic etc. and general comms.

If I am in a squad with a camping recon, I will switch. There is no point trying to reason with them, it is useless as I get really frustrated with the lack of movement forward. If you learn someone elses game style (and they know yours) this game is heaps of fun to work as a team.

But....each to their own

if you read around you'll find Sean gets tired of most things in about 5 mins, also his internet connection is currently fucked.

Give him some credit, he has managed a whole 10 hours

based off his tag he posted earlier, which is a surprise considering how his game seems to be broken 24/7.

Played last night. First spawn of the match, ran out of the spawn area and a recon from the other team was right there, so he got stabbed in the face. Damn cheater!!

I have an Nvidia card and take about 3 seconds to spawn so he couldn't have got there naturally.
