Fair enough. But more shaders will also help you in DX9 titles :-)

Yea they are geared more to high end addiction and money sucking

I think the appropriate response if you walked into a mens room and saw 20 women in there all protesting your use of your own toilet area, is to just unzip, flop out, and pelvis thrust into a helicopter motion until you nunchuck your way to the urinal.

It's funny how people label developers based on one single game.

They make more than one subscription based game ......................

http://www.semiaccurate.com/2009/06/...cards-october/

Rumours have it there will be 4 cards. HD5850, HD5870, HD5870X2 and a fourth unknown card...

Its so close its making me rethink buying a second 4890 to CF now. Actually i think I will wait, its not like there are any games coming out in the next three months that I need an upgrade for anyways

You might as well wait, or even wait and pickup a cheap 4890

But see what these 5-series cards have to offer, i know i am

That would be nice.
Similar to what ATI did with the 4-series of cards, they worked on smaller, less complex GPU's which they will use a similar strategy with the 5-series of cards...so they should be able to be quite flexible with the pricing if/when nvidia release their refresh and their DX11 cards.

I've read some articles that some games are in development and want to be launched this year. But i guess time will tell...

EDIT: I'd be surprised if a lot of DX10 games don't get patches for DX11 support as the two DX versions are quite similar in a lot of cases.
