Does anyone know where you can buy a DD version of Baldurs Gate 2 or Operation Flashpoint 1?

I can't speak for Operation Flashpoint, but unfortunately I don't think Baulders Gate is available digitally. (legally, that is). EBay's probably your best bet, in particular international sellers. You'll probably find a few options for around $20 including shipping

I'm going through exactly the same process with Arcanum.

You can stop / start it at any time & it will keep going from where you stopped.

Interesting fact with mass effect - I bought it on the weekend & as I'm on dialup I didn't have the bandwidth. I ended up borrowing my friends mass effect DVD & installed it using the steam provided cd-key & it worked fine.

what makes this purchase even sweeter is that internode has steam content as unmetered data

Make sure you use Steamwatch and select Internode servers only: http://www.users.on.net/~marttinen/

i believe there's an option in steam to select where to download from....not sure if that truly works though.
