It's not relevant to every situation but you people realize if you can find someone who lives somewhere that is getting a better deal than we are you can get them to gift the game to you on Steam? I've saved a good amount a bunch of times doing this, also got games before they were released in Aus.

Of course this involves trusting someone you don't really know with your cash, but it's not much more of a risk than buying off ebay and the like.

I find my contacts through a Steam thread over at SA.

Just a thought.

Problem there is that everyone I know currently in the US would not know Steam if it jumped up and bit them in the face.

It was $19.99 when I originally posted. I used proxify to get a US address. I'm now seeing the same price as you. Guess it was either a glitch, or a short term pricing mistake.

GOG Weekend Deal
20% off all pinball games.

Pure Pinball 2.0 Redux 20% off (US$4.79)
Pro Pinball Timeshock 20% off (US$4.79)
Pro Pinball Big Race USA 20% off (US$4.79)
Pro Pinball Fantastic Journey 20% off (US$4.79)

BTW I don't want to seem like I'm trying to take credit from others when posting these deals. I'd just like to keep some consistency and make it easier for others to spot the usual Steam, GOG, GamersGate etc deals amongst the general chitchat. I generally wait for an official posting/email from the respective company before posting, put links to each individual game, check that whatever bargain is advertised actually works for Australians and finally, try to update old posts when the deals are over.

That being said, I'd like to encourage others to continue to post any specials when they find them, given that many are time sensitive and people shouldn't miss out on a bargain because I don't update in a timely manner.
