Firstly, my computer has a "480" in it, and the game runs fine. It's not perfect, but definitely not "arse", especially not for an unoptimised build of a brand new engine. It also doesn't crash, which is a big plus for me.

Normally I'd never drop money on anything without lots of people telling me to. However, in the case of NS I felt like offering what I see as some (well-deserved) token support to an indie development team. Also, if the production values are anything like the last one (and they should be) and the game actually materialises (and it might yet), it's a good deal. I paid more for Left 4 Dead, which was great but doesn't have anything like the potential of NS.

Secondly, what's been released so far is an alpha - not some marketing "beta" (demo of finished game) - this is even more alpha than the Doom 3 alpha. The appropriate response is to go

and move on.

You can a key sent to you to register on Steam.

You also get a key for the SDK and the game.

I've been waiting for this game, for like 5 years now (I think, its been so long)
I LOVED NS1 I'm just hoping that enough people will buy it in australia to have lots of good matches
