Looks good. Happy I waited for this to come out instead of buying the 3G.

Yay, i can still keep my existing iPhone 3G cases and not bloody buy more accessories..which is quite a surprise from apple! Its a shame 3g talk time didn't improve, but i like how wifi, video and audio did improve somewhat.

omg, no offence but the Iphone 3GS - 'S' stands for s#$%...

they expect us to purchase this new one with video capability and slightly better megapixel camera(which is low in today standards) ???? all those faster this and faster that is really negligible... definitely not enough features to go and purchase the new one right???

def more interested to hear about better bluetooth support, turn by turn navigation and MMS in the new OS 3.0.... but apart from that, the 'Find me Iphone' and that ZIP CAR thingy is pretty useless to us if our providers dont support that right ??? ... lol... also is that 'remote wipe thing' based on whether the Iphone has connection to wifi ??? sorry, never used Mobile Me, i just assume that it needs wifi connection for it to work lol

yeh, exact same dimensions except weight bumped up a tinsy bit by 0.1 ounces.
wonder what the Aus prices will be.
if the improvements are vastly negligible, i might look into the 3g if the price comes down heaps.

Prices should be the same as the iPhone 3G launch, the iPhone 3G should get a price reduction...

For people who currently have iPhone 3G's i doubt they'll be cutting their contracts short just to get one. It just looks like another revision, but visually i don't know what they could of done to make it look better anyway

All i hoped for is better battery life and faster! which is what i got. The added bonus is i don't have to repurchase my cases/covers i have..which when they release a new nano or ipod, your existing cases are worthless.

well i guess we have to wait until one comes out here to see exactly the difference in speed. TO be honest, i dont find the current one slow at all ...... battery life maybe since i use the GPS on it

i actually waited out for the new revision hopin it'd be thinner. maybe its wishful thinkin but i was hopin for an iphone as thin as the 32gb ipod touch.

i dont think its purely based on the exchange rate. there might be other factors too like different taxes etc.
