Battlefield 3 allows you to feel the full impact of battle like never before. Powered by Frostbite 2, the next generation of DICE’s cutting-edge gaming engine, Battlefield 3 delivers spectacular visuals, earth-shattering destruction and real as hell combat gameplay providing a dramatic immersive First Person Shooter experience. One moment you may be marching down a hilltop listening to the hypnotic sound of a firefight in the distance or admiring the way the light reflects off the smoke plumes of ground to air missiles rising from the city you’re about to engage. The next you’re on an urban street, surrounded, claustrophobic, fighting for your life and looking eight ways at once with all your senses on high alert, chilled at the knowledge that the building you’re hiding behind can be your best friend or your worst enemy. Battlefield 1942 = full of c4 whores and fucktards smashing their jeep into a plane on the tarmac that was being piloted by one of their team in order to make the plane crash (denied!)

battlefield 2 was a bugfest reportedly.

not putting much hope on b3

This is EA we're talking about. Chances of this coming out been a quality polished game is nil. $20 bet when the game is released they will be a patch to go along with it simultaneously.

"After saying that the download-only Battlefield 1943 has been "selling well," "

It's not out yet?

Yeah, it's not due out on 360/PS3 until the end of the month. Maybe he was confused about the popularity (not sales) of Battlefield Heroes?

BF3! Yes! It'll be a bugfest but the Frostbite engine is fantastic and will make it even more awesome.

BF games have also never really been taken seriously by gamers (online hardcore gamers) it's more spam fest and there's so many glitches and shit it makes it hard to take it seriously.

BF1942 was fun, but that's where it ended for me.

BF:BC on the PS3 was fun (played the demo for 15 minutes) and the destructible environments (finally) give it a fresh (and much needed) play.

Who gives a shit about 'hardcore gamers' though? BF1942 and BF2 are some of the best times in gaming that i've experienced, despite the huge amounts of bugs and glitches, and they're both still filling up servers.

I'm not saying anyone gave a shit about them, but I'm sick of buying BF games that are so glitchy and buggy. I don't want to pay $90 for a beta.

I never got into BF2, was more of a Call of Duty person. Will be interested to see how this one turns out.

Remember the crying about the bullshit screenshots EA released of BF2 that were really pre-rendered garbage?

I wonder if it will happen again...

Loved BF2, to bits, 1942 desert combat, omfg, back in the day...

I just hope this isn't another COD4 with regard to the lacklustre maps and content.
