anyone else not enjoying the new maps? i thought they would be bigger.

I think the biggest problem with those maps is the lack of a commander. Maps that big tend to result in everyone being isolated and camper happy. Its seriously just a whole bunch of headless chooks. There is literally no direction, for example I find wake really easy for the US. All they have to do is go straight down the middle and take that point ant its over. The RU seem to just rush left and right and as soon as you wipe 1 side its fish in a barrel.

I love the maps but the gameplay on them is really stupid right now.

They really need to limit sprint and bring back the commander. It shits me when you are trying to hold a base and there entire team can basically sprint to it in no time. Not being able to call in supplies and artillery make me want to play BF2 again.

Having said all of that, I think they have done an amazing job with the "new" maps. Oman has actually been the most enjoyable for me

I got my first torch kill last night.

I am really enjoying the remade maps. I don't think they are too small blah blah. They are really well done IMO.

Hey guys, I just got the game last night.

Is it possible to download the updates seperately (not through Origin) ?

I'm about to hit my cap at home and I'd rather pull them while at work and take them home when I install tonight..

I know this is going to jinx me.. but i have had next to zero issues with Origin and BF3.. it all been sweet playtime with me..

And yesterday i had the best round with my squad and another squad working as a team.. dropping ammo, reviving and moving as one.. We were unstoppable..

Why be anything other than a Sniper or and Engineer?

New maps are just fields of Sniper Nests and Vehicles.

1. Battlelog does not recognize Back to Karkand: Battlelog may instruct you to "Buy Back to Karkand Now" even when you already own the expansion pack. This issue will prevent you from joining any Back to Karkand servers.

I am having this issue, what can i do to fix?

The first support assignment unlock is the QBB-95, it's a PKP that comes with single shot and burst fire plus a stock 12x scope....

no fix yet im still having the same issue

i got onto their support and they said they cant even see our purchases. seems to be happening to heaps of people

My w/l is pretty bad but I've realised I keep jumping in to almost full games, which means you get stuck on the side that has had a few rage quits because they are getting hammered. I switched to joining half empty servers last night and it seemed more even....

Im sure people have tried it but i had the same issue all i did was sign out of Battlelog in the IE window then re login and hey presto it worked but i think i got lucky. Typical EA shit house implementation of DLC
