Wow, so much 'hate' here with a fellow forum member that's spent a hell of a lot of time honing his BF3 skill. So what that is what he prefers to do with his spare time and has gotten 'good' at it? Everytime I've played against Japes I curse him to the ends of hell for killing me numerous times, and when I've found myself in the same team, I bloody love it. It's just a game guys, ease up already. In many ways, this personal attack on him shows more how seriously some of you take it. Tall poppy syndrome much?

How is it any different than endlessly benching in 3dmark?

I've ground out 1000's of hours of gaming in my life, for no reason other than fun. If he finds stat grinding fun then leave him be.

there is a difference between gaming alot and gaming too much, think he averages 5 hrs of bf3 a day, personally way too much is more to life BUT if he happy, good on him. Is much worse WoW people.

Primary reason of the stats? No. I play the game for fun. I do find improving my stats fun, though. If I wanted to play for stats, I would have sat on a Metro 24/7 server like a lobotomised drone for 8 hours a day launching M320's down a thin corridor. I play the whole game and am actually quite proud of that.

You play the game for fun too, right? Am I allowed to feel sad for you because you haven't had as much time to spend having fun as I have?

I'd love to play that much, and do when I get a chance with a few breaks, a few drinks, and a few mates on voice. And generally speaking the better you are at a competitive game the more you enjoy playing it.

Dunno why everyone is either raging or arsekissing over a player.

I'm not really sure what you should get but something better than gold tags.

I say if ya doin something that makes you happy and it's not touching kids inappropriately or the like ... then rock on!

It's a game people ... dam, and I actually like battlelog to be honest, I like to see what my mates have been doing etc and myself of course.

meh guys, I get jealous over the seriously good guys too but not worth sooking about. I would be lucky if I get as much game time in a week as japes does in a day, no reason to have a cry, maybe its an excuse for me being shit, maybe its not, so be it. I see my kids spend a very large portion of their day playing computer games, should I envy them?? Feel sorry for them? Neither I think, when they are at uni or have jobs then hopefully things will come back to reality a bit, for now let them enjoy life the way they enjoy it.
