Think you missed an amazingly cheap special a couple of weeks ago, but I think it's reasonably priced normally anyway, maybe $20? Plus $15 for Vietnam but that's not really needed.

Cheers. Thanks for the suggestion. Looks like I'll most likely get this game as the trailers seem so convincing.

It was only $7 a few weeks ago. It's back to $19.99 now. Maybe they will do another special like that later this month or so, considering the hype of Battlefield 3.

While I thought BC2 Viet was good and fun, most players seem to be on normal BC2 nowadays. BC2 Viet to me feels like the weapons do more damage overall compared to vanilla does anyone else agree?

I liked Vietnam too. More old skool weapons and next to no snipers.

It was fraught with snipers until some of the servers started putting limitations on the amount of snipers, now it's fairly bearable.

Much more fun than vanilla though.

I believe it was sposed to like that, more raw power compared to body armor.

Yeah I found that just a few shots would tear people up. As a result I spent a lot more time in vehicles.

I actually like the Vietnam version of damage. Felt more realistic without needing to go all HC and stuff.

Don't know if this has been posted yet:

http://blogs.battlefield.ea.com/batt...oes-to-e3.aspx

Quote:
Of course there are things we will not be showing at E3, including the game’s extensive co-op campaign, the introduction of Team Death Match mode and the Battlefield 3 Battlelog web destination – featuring powerful social tools, feeds and detailed player stats. Battlelog also lets you manage your friends lists, squad up, create platoons, use voice chat and follow your friends’ progress in real-time, and more. Battlelog will be available for the monthly fee of (drum roll)... zero dollars.
Also map name “Operation Métro” confirmed as the MP match that will be played and showcased at E3. Speculated to be set in Paris and also possibly be the beta map.

There's also some talk about the beta as well as official launch date being confirmed at E3.

At least this fighting between the 2 is going to benefit us.
