Just got a reply back from EA about my "backup/restore problem" which I have already solved myself.

Their response.. (Greatly fucking helpful)

We understood your concern that you have created back up of your games but was not able to see them after format, It seems that might be your back up is corrupted so we would suggest you to please delete the back up of these games and pre load the game again.

Beware when getting from cd key sites. majority are Russian keys and you'll need to do some file/registry editing every time theres a patch.
