Thank's guys

I picked mine up off someone when i sold them a driftwood. He breeds RCS to feed to his discus.

Are you a member of any forums dude?

www.aquariumlife.com.au is a pretty cool little forum

Basically you can buy them directly from enthusiasts who breed them, or just people who have too many!

I have only seen CRS in store in Sydney, at around $5 each its a bit out of my price range.

But i have seen RCS for $0.50 each on the forums (50 for $25 + ship)

IM hoping mine start to breed in the next week or two.

Plenty of aquariumlife members have CRS, and often have some for sale. I had a big colony of CRS (40+) A/B grade... lost them all in a wicked cold snap last winter (the place I was living got retarded cold, would blow fog while laying in bed), and the heater failed. Not happy.

Sweet!

Not of my small tank in my room. At the moment its just bare with a bit of java moss i have from another tank growing in there. Once i find some nice driftwood i will pull the water out of the tank and rescape it and then look into stocking. Once that happens i will post up some pics.

I do have pics of my bigger tank in this thread. Its not much to look at atm as i had an explosion of glass shrimp that ate all the algae in my tank then turned their attention to my plants So i'm now feeding the tank one to two algae pellets a night which are mostly gone by morning. My plants are slowly recovering and should be back to normal in a month or two..

I've just ordered a pile of glass shrimp so assuming they mostly arrive alive, I can probably spare a few.

All shrimp tank setting up here too

lol, already bought. I'll see how many arrive alive, otherwise you might have to wait a bit for my breeding tank to get up and running.
