i finally got my stand undercoated and panted over the last couple of weeks and got it inside the house (bought time)



bought the ply today to start covering/tank base, then will move onto getting the tank over here, and gpyrock and top frame to build it in like a wall.

You would be surprised by those feet, have seen them used in other tank builds before, the ones I have seen in other builds are able to withhold upto 2 Ton per feet.. definitely upto the task!

The feet are rated to certain weights. Bot sure how the tiles will go, but I think you'll find that the total weight evenly distributed would be acceptable.

It's all in compression so the legs would be fine, but I wouldn't try and slide it loaded else they'd shear, and it's short sharp shocks (i.e. dropped objects) that crack tiles a steady even load is unlikely too.

Recent rescape, Iphone camera makes it much brighter than it really is...
I have 3 Tropheus fry which have been growing for the last month, parents are perfectly fine with them swimming around

Hey Guys,

Just took some shots of my new RCS in the tank ive setup here.. still have a 2ft light on a 40cm tank, hopefully get a new light tomorrow. Hard getting a nice white balance on the shots, but it will do :P
