Seeing as im a poor strugling uni student...
I figured id saver the money on a noen to buy more misc crap  instead buy a flouro tube and just run some cellophane around it to give it colour, i reakons it might be a valid idea... although im marginally concerned abut the heat a flouro gives out, is it negligable?/

wouldnt it need 240v AC power.... not 12v DC thats in your case....

Nah you can buy ones from Clint Crazyyeeee bargains for like 10 bux that are designed to run from a car cigarette lighter, thus being 12V perhaps they have some sort of inverter in them *shrugs*
