1. NVIDIA Source BIOS Version: 62.00.60.00.01
2. ECLK/MCLK is 633/1404/1200MHz
3. Samsung memory
4. Fix certain of monitor compatible issue.

So this is essentially an underclock of the card?
stock clock was 660/1460... still not happy with the fix.

896H = stock clocked card
896I = OC'ed 660/1460/1200 card.

This:
http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Support/V...lity&FileID=91

Remember to back up your flash BIOS first. Then flash it with the new one.

Perhaps you should copy and paste this as well:

http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Support/V...flashBIOS.aspx

Then put the links to the BIOS so for ultra noobs - its all good.

Then perhaps ask a mod to sticky.

Other than removing the heat sink to physically identify which memory you have, i cant think of any utility that will report the memory manufacture.

Only 896I users will need to check if they want to make sure.

There is only one 896H BIOS so they are OK.

I have updated the OP to include the windows utility and BIOS links.
If DOS instructions for nvFLASH is needed, i can try and find a guide somewhere.

I have PM'ed an admin to hopefully get this thread pinned for a while.

For the 896I users Just download the flash utility and it will tell them their Bios version , if it's an f1 version you need to get the the update that is next up for 1 being 2 etc F2_C, the other version would be f20 I pressume which would mean getting the F21_C, hence my quote of going from 1 to 21 which I should've gone to 2...
Hence reading http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Support/V...flashBIOS.aspx which eskimogenius suggested.

I hope these solutions can help the users get rid of their screen detection issues.

by the way, zha50, did the flashing solve your problem?

Fine here too, 10 boots and counting. All good. =)

Looks like Gigabyte seemed to solve the problem.

I find it hard to remember if I have the 896I or 896H. But now I have a great method of remembering.

I have the 896H because the H stands for HECTIC.

896H = 2x DVI
896I = 1x DVI + 1x VGA + 1x HDMI
