Question Basic video/animation production

Hi all,

I need to create some simple product demonstration videos.
They need to do things like scrolling/zooming/rotating text, objects (simple images) moving around, etc, etc.
No audio is needed.
They need to be output as a video file... avi, mpg, etc.

Can someone suggest a software package that do these tasks?

Thanks in advance!

I've used Adobe After Effects to do the same things you're describing. I work with that alongside Adobe Premiere, so I'm not 100% sure that AE will output to video by itself, but I'm sure enough to suggest checking it out. Hope that helps.
