Hey guys, I remember a long time ago EB games had a contant offer on, where if you bought a game, didn't like it in 14 days you could return it for a full refund, is this still the case? I have my eyes set on a DS game which is a game I wouldn't necessarily buy but I wanna give it a go, on their website I see this return the game for 1/2 Refund within 30 days, has this replaced the old offer? Is there anywhere I can buy a game and return it within a few days of purcahse if I dont like it?

I thought it was 7 days you had to return it by? I assume that this is still implicitly in place even though I haven't used it in a couple of years. Try calling up your local EB and asking them.

EB Games sometimes ups it to 14 or 30 days around Christmas time. 2 months ago, I was told that it was 14 days return on 2nd hand games aswell, but that *may* have just been as it was in the middle of the large sale. But generally speaking 7 days is correct. *Eyes the 4 games that need to get refunded by 9pm tomorrow....*

Call me OCD but I cannot bring myself to return a game, or sell it. I want to knock over Salvation, but I can't bring myself to return the damn thing. This is made even worse by EB being 10 mins walk away from home (I'm not implying I'm lazy and I walk to the shops when I need it).

My mate does the 7 day return and basically abuses it. Rents on payday, finished the game and returns. It may fukc the people over who genuinely want to return something down the track when they catch on or it ends up costing them money...

there are some peolpe who abuse the system *cough Fatboy cough*
.. 4 games?!?!?!?But i guess its fine with EB since they came up with the idea. It really screws over people who do buy from EB expecting a "new" game, when there is a very high chance they may just put that "returned" game in the case.

![]() Yup, my local store doesn't mind, they recommend me games for the sole purpose of a few hours fun. True this. Only way to get a "new" game is just after release/preorder, as its still sealed in plastic.

If I can't beat a game in under 7 days, it desrves to be bought... hence why I have Fallout 3 from the UK (didnt they edit the Aus one of something??) still in plastic waiting to be opened/played. (Amongst others)

Yeah it's like 7 days no questions asked money back return for new games and 14 for used games.
Only issue is all the "new" games aren't actually new. You're a sucker to buy and keep a game from EB unless it's brand new out of a box and you really want it.

It doesnt really matter those disc are in perfect condition, the only difference is that there no annoying plastic to remove. Plus if your really that picky you can asked for one that's still sealed up most of the time if its a new game they will have it.
