Hmm, good point.

I should do that with my BF3 copy though...

Gotta remember that the real purpose of games is to separate punters from the money, not to entertain them. (That's why I'm a little puzzled at the D3 responses).

So is Hitman Abomination going to feature an always online auction house to buy weapons to outfit your 47?

And every night there'll be down time and you cant play because of Error 47.

Great summary Philll

Pirate it and then burn it (with fire).

What the fuck was that movie?!?!?

What the hell is with those nuns...that strip to pleather 'sexy' *cough* outfits?

Why is the surgical/shadowy hitman fighting these pvc nuns?

This is much more insulting than splinter cell conviction ever was...

Interesting

Watching it at the moment, this looks more promising so far though

Edit: I wish they'd show what it took to get to each of those scenarios

That's looking a lot better. I still don't like the hollywood "tech" sounds whenever he picks up a box of ammo or a weapon.

The previous games had minimalist sounds for such things, and that suited the games fine. It helps keep the 'professional' feel in the game.

Just remember, their first trailer was a 24 minute run through using all the new superman powers, this is a sliced and diced video showing only what they want you to see, for all we know they could have used instinct mode/reading minds/predicting patrol routes and so on to gain the uniform, keys to doors, info on where his car was etc. Then there's the auto aimed 10 meter knife throw

But yeah, it does look better

Most likely console footage as most people of those platforms (let's not forget that 90% of this crowd are 15 and below) tend to chuck it in the too hard basket if they don't get instant gratification or mind reading powers.

Personally, if the game is worth buying, I'll be playing on the harder difficulties. Challenge is good, but excessive dying gets frustrating. It's part of the experience though, it's showing that even after so many failures, you got past it, and it earns you actual experience in gaming.

Apologies for the double post, but the game has popped up on steam for pre-order!

We've had HD Hitman games since they were made for PC

They still don't get Hitman 1

Neon_25: Why do you want it to appeal broadly? AFAIK Blood Money sold extremely well, while retaining the "hardcore" values.

Tore Blystad: Blood money was also extremely expensive to produce and suffered a lot of piracy..
Was there some sort of online Q&A done about the game?
