Default Cheapest Banana Plugs

Thought I might get better info here. Where would be the cheapest to buy gold ones. They are quite expensive at dick smiths and Jaycars.

will need 16 or so

Easy fix. Grab some packaged heatshrink from Jaycar and slide them over the connection between banana plug and the cable. Makes them idiot proof but also quite appealing. I think im weird. I really like the look of a professional looking cable.

You need four per channel cable run.

So that's 5 x 4 for a 5.1 setup (assuming your sub uses a stereo interconnect).

That's 20 x $2.00 = $40. That's if you get from Rockby. They were $3.00 or so from Jaycar?

I bought a crapload of the Jaycar ones yonks ago to take advantage of the discount (ie. pretty much the same; accepts two cables, lockdown and the ability to piggyback and colour coded).

And the price was about $50 if I recall correctly. I have lots and lots left over...

Yes and I do like it very neat - I would just use bare wire if I didn't and that's just the worst.

Jaycar prices

1+ $3.95*
10+ $3.45*
50+ $3.15*

so for 20 it will be $69
