I can see why you're shocked. I mean they had FIFA 01,02,03,04,05,06,07,08,09 - who would of thought they'd follow it up with 10...

Furthermore, aren't they released on the same day every year?

im a bit disappointed with whats been announced will be in 10. the usual improvement of ball control etc... but STILL no keeper control, i was really looking forward to getting some 11v11 games happening.

Im still buying it regardless though :P

From what Ive seen/read on FIFA 10 so far I am very impressed. Of course, I will reserve judgement until I have played the demo.

Features that have stood out for me so far:

* 360 Degree dribbling control
* Set piece editor
* Proper practice arena, rather than just a shooting gallery

GFX wise it looks pretty much the same as '09...Im sure the commentary will also be the same.

I'm hoping they 'fix' the crossing this year....for some reason I just couldnt do crosses in 09 like I could in '08....every cross I did would go diagonally back towards my goal

Looking forward to playing the demo !

PS Real Madrid will be unstoppable in 10

Also: Release date is October 1st here in Oz

You're lucky enough to get only a handful of players online in one match anyway.

Why would you want to control the keeper all match anyway?

The 360 degree dribbling should be interesting.

I've never played around with any other settings except for my formation & squad, so if fiddling with set pieces does anything better or worse, i'll have to see.

I'm hoping the practice arena is multiplayer.

In the mean time, bring on the demo.... when it comes. Still too much of wait!

The set pieces will be awesome, being able to lay the ball off to a screaming Gerrard will be good. I also hope they fix the crossing thing, alot of my balls also go back towards my goal, do you double tap x? (X360 controls)

Never had a problem with the crossing in 09 personally, I won most of my games by crosses . Looking forward to the set pieces and definitely the 360 dribbling, no more slight downwards movement and ball suddenly going out of play.

you need to learn to play if you cannot cross.

a. dont use assist like a rookie, and aim it where you want it to go, add extra curl as well to hit around the pen spot.
b. drive it in holding L1, but you have to make sure there is someone out the back like around the edge of the 18 because most of my driven crosses never hit anyone unless im jogging/walking around the wings with my players.

f10 looks good, finally they are using a practice mode like in previous years. the over haul of the keepers looks awesome! more tricks will be good, trapping the ball changes will help soooo much more.

im keen to see the way they have changed shooting not just the 2-3 types of shots you see :/ for example.. kicking the ball with the outside of the foot from the 18 to beat the keeper far post...... so unrealistic.

i want closer ball control and a few specific tricks. maybe some team specific celebrations but i might be asking for too much :P

Some advice on FIFA Street 3, try & get the online achievements now, rather than later. There's a number of people online who appear to be playing it again. I just finished it the other week (1000G + 250G DLC).

Hopefully they eradicate the freezing issue in manager mode. Massive pain in the ass when I was trying to get the Spending Spree achievement. It'd freeze randomly & screw up your manager mode.
