Default Should i buy this 1800+?

Ok here goes my first post. I have watched this forum and seen that the 1700+ AGOIA 0216 "9" seems quite popular.
So i mailed a local dealer here in sweden and asked if they had any.
They answered that they donŽt sell 1700+ anymore but they did have a 1800+ AGOIA. Should i buy this cpu or try get a 1700+ somewhere else?

Here comes the stats

AX1800DMT3C
AGOIA219MPW

Well overclocking is always a bit of pot luck, all we can do is make very tentative speculations

You're right AGOIA week 15 and 16 "9" seem to be giving good results, but again these results should be treated with caution, as not all of these CPUs are overclocking as well as each other.

To give you an example, a myself and mate from here bought two AGOIA 0216 9 CPUs, they were from the same batch, and had serials different by only about 15 or so!

His maxed out at mid-high 1800s, mine went to 1958 on the same board and at the same voltage...

So yes it's probably a decent overclocker, the later week AGOIAs seem to be, but of course nothing is guaranteed I guess it then falls to you as to make the gamble or not

Check here for more stepping info if you haven't already
