Dell never know. You did your order 5 days before me, it is 5 days before my delivery is expected, so I am guessing yours, if it take the same time as mine, could arrive tomorrow.

heh join the queue. I've been promised about 5 call backs now on.
Trying to get them to send my promised NEW replacement monitor and take back this pos refurb they sent me(which is bullshit as a replacement for a one day old monitor).

At least its only a 300 monitor and not a 1K one, so i guess its not all bad. Think i may just cut my losses and put this down as a lesson learned, never deal with dell again.

I haven't called them at all. ETA was yesterday (tuesday).
Just got a call from Schenker.. delivery will be tomorrow (thursday)!

Woot – Received my U2711 today! All up, it took 9 days from the time of ordering to receive it.

---
Feb 8 – Placed order

Feb 9 – Order confirmation

Feb 10 – Delivery confirmation advising delivery date of Feb 16

Feb 15 – Schenker advise that they are not expecting to receive the monitor from Dell until Feb 18. Delivery now scheduled for Feb 19

Feb 16 – Dell status page says that the monitor is now with local courier company. Schenker advises that the monitor is still not in the country and delivery remains scheduled for Feb 19

Feb 17 – Monitor is delivered

Moral of story? Don't believe everything that Schenker tells you! I have since unpacked the monitor and it is a thing of beauty My video card (8600GT) struggles to play HD content at full resolution so it looks like that will need to be upgraded as well.

Only issue is that I have found a stuck blue pixel. I understand that Dell has a panel exchange policy for stuck pixels during the 3 year warranty period. Do they give you a new panel or a refurbised one? If they give you a new panel, I might wait for the A01 revision to come out before getting it replaced.
