I received Ghosts of Ascalon in the mail about a week ago. I am about 1/2 way through it and finding it an enjoyable enough read.

I didn't know there was another novel about Goats.

Borders only sent me an email on release day that Goats would be 10-14 days delivery. Baaaaaaaaah!

I just walked in to Borders one day in early August and asked about the release date. They looked it up, noted that it was not going to be stocked at that store but told me that it was already available to order it through the online Boarders store. I went home, placed my order and it arrived on the 11th of August.

Demo footage from gamescom is starting to appear around the webz. Here is a level 1 boss fight with, amongst other things, a necromancer (class confirmed)

Mesmers has also been confirmed but the developers, but its just not 'official' yet ^^

I hope they give a decent amount of chracter customization options, like body, the main reason I didnt make males was they were for the most part fugly beefcakes.

I imagine it would be fairly involved as most are these days.

Yeah most of my characters were female. The female armor/costumes are so much more detailed. :P

I heard necros were confirmed too. Necros and Mesmers are my 2 fav classes from the original so im absolutely stoked!
N/Me is probably the most original pvp class ive ever played in an MMO.
